All round Senior HR Business Partner

What you’ll do
By joining the European HR team, responsible for the Netherlands, you’ll not only lead the strategic design and development but ensure that your unit and the European Unit is set for success. You will:

  • Set and build organisational capabilities in line with business strategy.
  • Catalyse organisational design decisions via the use of frameworks, key concepts and expertise.
  • Advise the business leaders on strategic and operational organisational design solutions.
  • Work closely with ELT/Level 3 Executive To be a strategic linkage between the business and the COE’s (e.g. people matters, teambuilding, leadership development, change initiatives).
  • Drive performance management both at an organisational and executive level.
  • To facilitate and coach business leaders to build change capabilities in business and people leaders.
  • To work with the Leadership team of the business to build and ensure they operate as an effective unit.
  • To deploy corporate organisational change management concepts and tools in the business unit/location.

What are your responsibilities?

  • Cultivate strong, long term relationships with key decision-makers within the organisation and develop deep knowledge of the business and HR’s role within it.
  • Partner with: business leaders to maximise human capital value to achieve corporate and business objectives.
  • Centres of Excellence to design required interventions in support of BU/Country strategy
  • Regional HR to deliver required interventions and SBU specific initiatives.
  • cross-functional teams to ensure BU/Country processes are streamlined and meet global expectations.
  • Create, implement and manage HR strategic plan and . Works with business leadership to identify HR implications of those business objectives.
  • In conjunction with colleagues, conduct annual workforce planning discussions that include:
  • Evaluation of Business Unit/Country demands and recruitment challenges
  • Competency requirements
  • Organizational design and gap strategies
  • Headcount budgeting and staffing forecast process
  • Facilitate improvement processes concerning team performance
  • Champion and facilitate organisational change initiatives; understand the implications of change in terms of skills, processes and competencies
  • Create HR metrics and accountabilities to align objectives and enable continuous organisational transformation.
  • Facilitate leadership transformation. Drive interventions to develop effective leaders.
  • Support HR Due Diligence and integration activities for potential mergers and acquisitions.
  • Integrate Rocket’s Vision and Strategy into all activities to drive alignment and provide sufficient clarity to act as guidelines for decision making for managers.
  • Mentor and develop Associate Business Partners as agreed with Director/Senior Director Human Resources. Participate in professional development sessions or seminars.

  • A strong personal and professional impact, with extensive experience in presenting to and influencing senior business leaders in a fast-paced technology and innovative environment.
  • Possesses strategic thinking and planning/facilitation ability, and flexibility.
  • An analytical approach to problem solving, experience designing and project managing successful people programs.
  • A highly motivated self-starter and be able to work with a minimum of supervision.
  • A proven ability to understand and develop effective HR and OD strategies while understanding the implications from a culture, business success, company practice and legal standpoint.
  • The ability to translate BU/Country business plans and goals into human resource capabilities.
  • Minimum of Bachelor degree with at least 10 years of related HR Management, Business Partnering/OD experience or equivalent.

How you’ll work

  • Our client advises you to work 2 days in Dordrecht and the other days it can be done remote.
  • Contact with your direct report will be mainly online since she is located in the UK.
  • Travel Requirements: <5% Minimal, infrequent travel.

  • € 7500- € 8000 per month
  • 8% holiday pay
  • 10% bonus based on company result and personal element
  • no pension yet (is part of the plan for 2022 and 2023)
  • 26 vacation days plus national holidays
