Senior HR Operations Specialist



As a Senior HR Operations Specialist at Decathlon Digital Amsterdam, you are the right hand of the HR Lead and will manage the full HR operational part of the Hub. We are building up and also on that HR operations part we are setting the stage for further growth. You will work closely with experts in NL, Lille and Paris as one team. Together we will strengthen and rebuild administrative HR processes. You will be the go-to person for teams and HRBP’s for the first questions regarding Dutch law, onboarding, HR tools, relocation and compensation & benefits.


As a relatively new entity within the group, you, together with the HR Business Partner and HR colleagues in France, are in charge of all HR processes and you have a major influence on how this is structured.

  • Manage the entire employee lifecycle process, including onboarding, contract management, and offboarding.
  • Ensure accurate processing of HR-related documents and data, including payroll.
  • Support the execution of HR processes such as performance reviews, training and development, and absenteeism management.
  • Act as the first point of contact for HR-related questions and requests from employees.
  • Contribute to improving HR processes and procedures to increase efficiency and improve employee experience.
  • Collaborate with various teams within the organization to support and coordinate HR initiatives.


What we expect from you

  • A passion for sports!
  • Bachelor's degree in HRM, Business Administration or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in an HR-related position.
  • Thorough knowledge of HR processes and procedures (HR operations/C&B/absenteeism/vitality/D&I), experience with HR systems and knows everything about Dutch law and regulations in the field of HR
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Able to work independently and also well in a team. You can easily keep an overview!
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Able to work at the office in Amsterdam at least 3 days a week
  • Proficient in Dutch and English.

The position offers excellent primary and secondary employment benefits. This includes a salary ranging from 60,000 to 70,000 euros annually. Employees are entitled to 24 vacation days, with an additional option to take 5 vitality days. There is a 20% monthly bonus (maximum) and on top of that, an annual bonus of 8.5%. There's ample flexibility to work remotely, along with an outstanding pension plan, mobility allowance, and a work-from-home stipend. Additionally, employees enjoy a 20% discount on company products.
